In 2012 the first UK in Taiwan festival will be held in Taipei. The festival will combine UK culture, art, fashion, education, tourism, and food, introducing Taiwan and her people to the diverse nature of modern Britain. In a fast changing age, where developments in IT are unceasing, the opportunities for people around the world to participate in international cultural exchanges are growing by the day. This event aims to introduce Taiwan’s populace to the real culture of the UK and to create better cross cultural ties between the UK and Taiwan. In the long run this cultural exchange will lead to greater co-operation between the UK and Taiwan.
